Learning Lab: Free Degree and Financial Incentives

Length of Training - 90 minutes

Want to find out how you can earn free youth development related certificates, credentials, or even a degree — and get paid incentives along the way? This session breaks down the education options at Palm Beach State College and the Florida Department of Children and Families, along with Prime Time’s scholarship and ACHIEVE Out-of-School Time Financial Incentive award programs.

Bring your certificates and transcripts. You’ll get time to update your info in the Prime Time Portal, upload documents, and apply for scholarships and incentives.

*Only staff who are employed by a Palm Beach County afterschool program may attend this training.

Training Objectives:

Participants will:

Explain the opportunities available through Prime Time to gain youth development training and education.
Identify the financial incentives available through Prime Time’s training and incentives programs.
Learn how to submit scholarship and financial incentive applications and to upload training/education information to their Prime Time OST Registry Record.

Zoom Recording Consent

I hereby grant and authorize Prime Time Palm Beach County the right to take, edit, alter, copy, exhibit, publish, distribute and make use of any and all video taken of me via Zoom as I attend Prime Time's virtual professional development trainings and/or virtual events to be used for any and all marketing purposes.

This authorization extends to all languages, media, formats and markets now known or later discovered. This authorization shall continue indefinitely, unless I otherwise revoke this authorization in writing. I waive the right to inspect or approve any finished product in which my likeness appears.

I understand and agree that these materials shall become the property of Prime Time Palm Beach County and will not be returned.

I hereby hold harmless and release Prime Time Palm Beach County from all liability, petitions, and causes of action which I, my heirs, representative, executors, administrators, or any other persons may make while acting on my behalf or on behalf of my estate.

When you attend a Prime Time Training/Event, you enter an area where photography, audio and video recording may occur. By entering this event, you consent to such recording media and its release, publication or reproduction.
