The goal of the Expanding Youth-Adult Partnerships (EYAP) Training series is to equip Out-of-School Time practitioners working with teens in Palm Beach County with the skills and knowledge they need to create an environment that fosters positive relationships, leadership and belonging with young people. Practitioners will learn how to work effectively alongside teens while helping them to develop the confidence and agency to positively impact their communities.  By using a cohort model, learners in the training series will foster a community of practice where they will glean insight from each other and build connections with other educators in the field.

As a means of strengthening their partnerships with young people and empowering teens to create change, practitioners will begin to integrate Teen Advisory Councils (TAC) in their middle school programs.

Upon successful completion of this training series and follow-up assignment(s), the participant will earn 20 clock hours (2 CEUs) of training.
